Bio
Sam Leibowitz-Lord is the Communications Assistant/Science Writer and Social Media Intern. He is a Senior Journalism student at Rutgers SCI with a focus on scientific and educational copywriting.
Current Research
Sam has been working for the past two years on “gamification,” an experimental model of adult education for non-traditional learners. As Creative Director at Hypostatic Studios, an internationally-recognized indie game studio, Sam has been a key leader on a team focused on bringing physics, computer engineering, and social science research to non-traditional learners.

Selected Publications
Sam Leibowitz-Lord is an in-house student reporter who assists in the production of broadCAST, the Center’s quarterly newsletter. Sam focuses on news around the Center, in the community, in the field of substance use studies, and at the national level.
